Wire Specialist II
The Wire Specialist II is responsible for all aspects of the Wire Desk, such as acceptance processing, exceptions, and reconciliation. They will also back-up other functional areas of the Operations Resolutions department, including; card, check, ACH, and card fraud disputes and copy requests.
What you'll do here:
Manage Branch and Department daily wire processing functions including accepting, processing, downloading files from an external application and uploading wires into payments’ systems. Place verification call-backs to members submitting wires. Receive domestic and International wire requests from branches and departments. Review wire requests for completeness and OFAC/AML/BSA compliance.
Process and resolve wire exceptions, reconciliations/GL balancing.
Member and internal customer service functions involving communicating with branches, departments and members for problem resolution.
Recognize and resolve technical issues with equipment and software used by department and internal customers.
Maintain required logs and reports. Reconciliation of settlement and work-in progress accounts.
Review and ensure procedures are current and cross train team members.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
1 years of experience within a Financial Institution.
Working knowledge of Regulation E impacting daily operations.
Strong typing and 10 keys skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly motivated and dedicated to getting the job done and multi-task and manage time effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Builds cooperative relationships with other business lines to achieve results for all teams.
Ability to use good judgment and decision making skills to ensure problem resolution.
