Wealth Management Sales Director
The Wealth Management Sales Director will lead, motivate, and oversee the Wealth Management team to achieve sales targets, provide quality service to clients in a sales and service culture, and meet organizational business goals.
What you will do here
Achieve sales results and manage team operations by leading and coaching the sales and service teams to achieve the organizational business targets and goals. Build and maintain processes and activities to create exceptional client experiences and a high level of efficiency and effectiveness. Establish sales targets, product offering and pricing.
Lead the Wealth Management Sales and Service teams by managing escalated internal and external client inquiries and issues; recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees. Manage continuing education and employee development to ensure the quality of advice provided by the Wealth Management team meets business objectives and service levels. Provide support for members of the wealth management team to achieve professional qualifications and designations that will support the growth of the Wealth Management Division.
Develop and implement internal and external sales strategies and business development tactics. Identify and cultivate new opportunities and changes in the marketplace. Conduct and participate in business development activities including seminars and events.
Manage, maintain and develop internal and external business partnerships (e.g. retail, marketing, product partners, etc.) while building positive relationships.
Design and implement a strategic sales and business development plan; manage the sales and service process, activities and practices for consistency, productivity and long-term growth; and cultivate and maintain effective internal and external business partnerships, and be a visible representative of the company in the community. They will carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies & applicable laws and regulations.
Comply and adhere to all internal and business partner policies and regulations with all governing oversight authorities (i.e. FINRA, SEC, NCUA, AZDOI, etc.). Ensure procedures, product offerings, partnerships and internal controls are compliant with applicable laws and regulations and corporate policies.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
10 years of experience in Wealth Management and/or Financial Advising.
5 years of experience in a Leadership/Management role.
Securities Series 7 License, Securities Series 66 (or 63 & 65) License, and Life & Health Insurance License required.
Ability to effectively lead a team to accomplish goals.
Ability to successfully sell products and services and coach to improve others sales skills.
Customer Service Skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
