Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist
The temporary recruiter will work independently to fill assigned requisitions within a specific business area(s), while utilizing an understanding of recruitment practices, company policies and procedures.
What you will do here:
Recruit for entry level roles by conducting phone interviews and qualifies candidates while ensuring a positive hiring experience.
Promotes the Desert Financial culture and presents the organization in such a way to help build a diverse and talented teams.
Source internal and external candidates using various resources and/or methods; check candidate references; posting positions via appropriate avenues; running advertisements; participating in job fairs; reviewing internal transfer requests and employee referrals.
Partner with business managers to anticipate and respond to hiring needs.
Arrange for interviews, selecting and qualifying, testing, processing of references / drug screening/background checks, negotiating / extending job offers, and coordinating offer letters.
Disposition candidates not qualified based on job specifications or job fit in a timely manner.
Make candidate recommendations based off of behavioral phone interviews and reviewing eligibility.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
1 years of recruitment experience.
Human Resources experience preferred.
Ability to efficiently manage heavy requisition load, work independently, prioritize effectively. Ability to advise, influence and make sound judgment calls. Behavioral interviewing techniques.
Demonstrate flexibility, objectivity in responding to business needs. Solid negotiating skills and decision making capability. Proficiency in web-based applicant tracking systems.
Demonstrate strong customer-focus while building collaborative relationships with internal customers and external members and vendors. Personal computer proficiency with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, web-based job boards and social media.
