The Talent Operations Specialist must be high detail-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated. Have a passion for a talent mindset and driving performance. Be resourceful in overcoming roadblocks that hinder processes and can prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
A typical week might include the following...
Develop and implement processes, programs and systems in support of talent management strategy ensuring superior customer experience, effectiveness, and efficiency. This includes understanding needs of stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables, develop and manage project plans and schedules, and manage change associated with new processes and programs.
Administers talent management programs and systems according to defined strategy and plan, including the creation and delivery of key deliverables, reports, communications, learning materials, and other support resources.
Serves as a key point of contact to the business for talent management programs and technology, addressing questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Strategic – understands and articulates the company strategy and how one’s role fits in and drives its successful execution.
Committed to creating & searching for new and innovative approaches to activities that enhance performance.
Serve as a HR concierge to ensure a VIP employee experience.
Support pre-hire, onboarding, HR Helpdesk, and other employee lifecycle processes.
Employee liaison for all payroll and benefits questions, helping resolve problems, direct change if needed, and provide cross functional and collaborative communication across HR teams.
Become a company expert on HR systems. Train employees and address questions and employee issues.
Work with HR/Operations to develop, present, and continuously improve our new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve our employee experience.
Be a resource to teammates and managers on company policies, practices, and regulations.
Work with recruiters and HR and Operations Leadership to support recruiting efforts as needed.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. Working with HR teams on compliance reporting – ACA, EEO, Workers Comp and others as needed.
Provide HR reporting, which includes but not limited to, compliance details, termination information, new hire details, recruiter summaries, and active requisition reports.

This role might be for you if you have...
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years of experience managing projects/tasks
1 years of HR department experience executing HR practices and procedures
Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. pay and benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and learning &development).
Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge; Working knowledge of database and/or information systems.
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance tasks including but not limited to document retention, labor poster compliance, etc.
Experience managing projects/tasks in an independent manner.
Bonus points if you have...
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field.
2 years of experience of HR experience.
Document retention and audit/compliance experience.
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification and/or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.
