Sr. HRIS Architect
As the Sr. HR Systems Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of Desert Financials HRIS strategic roadmap. You’ll provide expert guidance and delivery for HCM engagements across our UltiPro suite of products and partner with the Sr. HRIS Analyst to ensure proper configuration and maintenance of our HRIS processes, automation, and permissions.
Oversee, build and manage the overall Configuration of the HR CORE system (Ultipro) resulting from requirements gathering sessions to support all HR subsequent systems (i.e. HCM, ATS, LMS, Succession, Payroll, Time and Benefits portals), focused on shaping the Talent Management and Workforce Planning strategies.
Manage permission configuration, access, personalization, and system settings for all HRIS users from leaders to staff level roles. Translate into detailed documentation, to support and govern ESS and MSS capabilities through the design of dynamic workflows and process maps that align system capabilities to talent strategy while meeting deliverable deadlines. Partner directly with the Sr. HRIS Analyst to ensure optimal function of the HR CORE and system settings are properly governed.
Serve as the representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate cross-functional work focused around HRIS system design, implementation, testing, and enhancements.
Partner closely with the Sr. HRIS analyst, internal (HR) and external (Operations) systems/stakeholders to ensure alignment, accuracy, and communication of talent-related data coming in-and-out of the HR CORE system. Ensure data is properly compiled into the BI system (Cognos) to enhance reporting and workforce planning capabilities.
Provide production support to the Sr. HRIS Analyst, including researching and resolving HCM problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Develop and oversee standard reporting capabilities for internal customer needs, helping to maintain data and system integrity through queries and data.
Analyze trends and identify opportunities to continuously improve HR system strategies that align with overall talent management strategy through the quality of data, self-service automation, talent profile inventory, and seamless integration of bi-lateral data transfers.

High School Diploma or GED
6 years of HRIS design, configuration, implementation, and process experience.
Experience with HRIS Configuration, system architecture design, and deployment, system lifecycle management.
Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
Experienced using compensation-related systems and resources (i.e. Payscale).
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related.
Experience working with UltiPro HCM Suite.
