Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full cycle recruiting to include preparing job descriptions, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and hiring candidates for all technical, professional, and leadership roles. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will own projects that enhance the recruiting experience and keep up with trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in recruiting practices.
What you will do here:
Schedules and conducts behavioral phone/video interviews with candidates, reviews results to determine eligibility, and makes hiring recommendations
Identifies creative strategies to attract top talent utilizing recruiting technology such as video interviewing and AI. Partner with hiring leaders to complete an intake for each defined role to attract appropriate hiring pool
Sources internal and external candidates using various resources and/or methods; posting positions; running advertisements; participating in job fairs; reviewing internal transfer requests and employee referrals
Ongoing communications with hiring managers, and candidates by arranging interviews, selecting and qualifying, testing, processing of references / drug screening/background checks, negotiating/extending job offers, evaluates and ensures job descriptions are up to date
Act as a mentor/coach to the talent acquisition team, takes a lead role in projects and may conduct training classes on behavioral interviewing techniques and offer sessions related to the talent acquisition process
Ensures compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to recruiting and hiring; to include maintenance of application information to comply with record-keeping requirements
Stays abreast of talent acquisition trends and makes recommendations to align processes with current trends
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree Related field; Human Resources or relevant field, preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
More than 10 years Technical Recruiting, Behavioral Interviewing, web-based applicant tracking systems, web-based job boards and social media, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Preferred: Experience with pre-hiring assessments and other testing tools, Human Capital Management systems (HCM), and employment laws and regulations.
Ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations.
Ability to recommend process improvements and lead projects with little guidance.
Ability to partner with hiring managers to advise and influence.
Negotiating skills and decision making capability.
Ability to efficiently manage heavy requisition load.
Demonstrates flexibility, objectivity in responding to business needs.
Demonstrates strong customer-focus; builds collaborative relationships with internal customers and external members and vendors.
Preferred: PHR - Professional Human Resources Certification or AIRS certification.
