Job Description

The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for determining campaign effectiveness across a number of online and offline channels, creating monthly reports, and performing ongoing analysis of Desert Financial's member/customer base to identify opportunities for ongoing engagement.  Applies quantitative and qualitative techniques to interpret data and efficiently communicate key insights and findings, as well as opportunities based on findings. Translates complex and detailed data from multiple sources into clear, concise insight, and reports for use in data modeling statistical, behavioral and larger business plans.

What you will do here:

Analyzes and reports on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics which include leads, conversions (closed won business), open rates, click-through rates (CTR), web visits, etc. Creates reports of the results, and recommends optimizations based upon the data.

Conduct studies, analysis and ad-hoc reporting of Desert Financial's client-base to find and provide actionable insights that help shape marketing and and business strategy.

Designs, creates and maintains monthly reports and/or dashboards, reporting organizational results and marketing results in easy to understand formats. 

Optimizes the internal systems necessary to provide dashboards and reports, including data integration, data models, aggregation and accuracy.  Manages marketing’s dashboard tool. 

Perform other job-related duties as assigned 

What you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field. Specific area of study in this field:  Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics

5 years of Marketing analytics, sales operations or Finance experience. 

5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. 

Advanced problem solving ability. Self-Motivated, independent, resourceful.

Proficient with MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).  Advanced proficiency with excel is preferred.

Experience with gathering data within key marketing systems, including Eloqua, Marketing, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Youtube,, Google Analytics, among others. • Experience gathering and reporting data in Eloqua and

Proficient with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, GoodData, Power BI

Experience with data integration best practices. Strong understanding of data visualization techniques.

Experience working with stakeholders across the organization to effectively gather reporting requirements.

Strong Analytical, negotiation, and research skills along with experience working with data in a highly analytic environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate ideas effectively verbally and written.

Ability to effectively analyze data and understand/communicate key insights. Attentive to detail, and able to make judgments when facing ambiguity.

Experience using MCIF solutions (Touché Analyzer Preferred) or other relational databases preferred.
