Who you are

You’re the Rock Star of our organization and you set the tone for the Desert Financial experience as soon as members/customers walk through the door. You bring your ‘A’ game by instantly building rapport with members and learning about their financial needs in an effort to pair them with the appropriate products. You are extremely passionate about helping people with their financial success and guide yourself with a high level of integrity, always doing what is right

As a Teller, a typical day might include the following...

Provide exceptional experiences with a high level of integrity, professionalism and charisma, while making the member feel welcome while learning about their financial needs in effort to pair them with the appropriate products

Accurately process member inquiries and financial transactions. This includes, but is not limited to; withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, and loan payments

Effectively communicate the value of being a Credit Union member by offering products and services to enhance the member’s financial stability

Individually contribute to the overall service expectations while maintaining a team mindset

Adhere to established compliance and organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

This role might be for you if

You love helping people, have at least 1 year of work experience in a Sales role, and a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a customer service role.

You pay attention to the details. You are diligent (almost obsessive) about doing it right the first time, especially when it comes to processing financial transactions including withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, and loan payments

You are motivated and driven. You volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked. You’re going to take ownership of the time you spend with members and truly make a difference

You communicate clearly. You can explain just about anything to anyone and you’re comfortable communicating in person, in writing and on the phone

You think on your feet. You like learning new things, and you can learn quickly. When things change, you know how to roll with the punches

Have completed a high school diploma or GED

Bonus points if you have:

Financial Services industry experience

Six months of cash handling experience

Strong computer literacy, data entry, and typing skills
