The Operations Engineer III is responsible for maintaining the equitable distribution of activities to their team members. The Team Lead will develop shared ownership for the results of the team, assist in hiring and developing existing team members, and provide an engaging work environment. The Data Operations team is responsible for the import, storage, classification, and integration of organizational data. Data types include images, database tables and records, and traditional files located on systems including imaging platforms, file servers, and databases.

What you will do here

Ensure that daily Job Processing (scheduling, system backups, posting files) on the Core Processor is successfully completed in order to support the business objectives the client base.

Identify and help create documentation for the knowledge base. Contribute to the development and implementation of effective and efficient processes.

Provide troubleshooting and support to multiple platforms. In addition to tracking issues and analyzing data looking for trends and systemic issues, reporting on and managing key metrics.

Perform administrative and diagnostic activities needed to support multiple environments.

Assist with the planning and implementation of core system running on the IBM AIX platform.

Partner with network, compute, storage, capacity, security, and product teams to plan and execute against a broad array of business and product needs.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


What you will need

High school diploma or GED.

Vocational school (or some college courses).

5 years of experience in AIX Support and Administration.

The ability to take ownership of technical issues and work with other groups to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.

AIX Support/Administration, OnBase Administration, and/or Linux - RedHat, DB2, AIX certifications preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and SQL preferred.

Knowledge of programming and scripting languages including PowerShell, VBScript, and TSQL preferred.
