Mtg Closer II
The Mortgage Closer II is responsible for coordinating loan closings in compliance with company and industry standard rules and regulations for Define Mortgage Solutions, a credit union service organization (CUSO). The Closer will prepare legal documents and closing packages to facilitate the timely and accurate funding of first mortgages. The Closer will also be responsible for balancing and preparation of the funding wire transfer.
What you will do here:
Funding activities including coordination with settlement agent, wire instruction confirmation, pre-funding verbal verification of employment for all loan applicants and disbursement of funds. After funding, ensure that the file is assembled accurately, the original note and loan documents are delivered to Secondary Market and Document Imaging. Data Transfer is completed to Loan Servicing and all post-closing requirements are completed. IE: MERS Registration, Successful UCD Submission & Secondary Purchase Advice MIN Transfer.
Closing responsibilities include reviewing loan file for accuracy, completing pre-closing compliance audit checks, data entry to prepare loan documents, review fees and balance with settlement agent. Review signed documents for accuracy and follow-up on missing items.

What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years Loan Document Drawing Experience required.
1 years banking or related lending experience required.
Advanced attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending process required.
Advanced excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Intermediate ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and able to effectively meet those deadlines required.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products required.
