Mgr, Product Mgmt
The Manager of Product Management leads a team that develops the long-term vision, strategy, roadmap, and launch of products and product enhancements that provide exceptional experiences to members and create member value. Using insights from the industry, competitors, and members, they create strategic product roadmaps and develop new products that enhance the member experience throughout the entire product lifecycle. They work across the entire business to successfully implement new products and product enhancements.
What you will do here:
Product Team Leadership: Directly manages a team of Product Managers, Product Marketers, and Analysts responsible for the creation and implementation of the organization's' product strategy and roadmap
Builds and owns the product roadmap based on the credit union’s strategic plan, product strategy, pricing strategy, and business goals. Identifies opportunities, prioritizes work, and gains buy-in.
Works with leaders across the business to ensure new products and product enhancements are developed efficiently and to requirements.
Acts as the Voice of the Custome (VOC), ensuring that products provide member value based on research and direct feedback from both potential and existing customer/members.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Business, or related field
Preferred: Master's Degree - MBA in related field
7 Years experience in Product Management and/or Product Marketing Experience
7 Leadership and Management Experience
Preferred: 2 Years of experience in Financial Institution experience
Knowledge of KeyStone, OnBase and Jira
A positive attitude and creativity to generate new insight and ideas in an environment of constant change. Demonstrated ability to inspire and coach team members to success
Highly motivated and dedicated to getting the job done and multi-task and manage time effectively.
Proven ability to work across teams and with all levels of management.
Experience managing multiple priorities at a time while paying strict attention to detail. Strong multi-tasking and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and OneNote.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, planning skills problem solving, analytical, creative and organizational skills
Ability to work independently to conduct research, perform analysis and synthesize data into a cohesive picture.
Ability to present complex or controversial topics to individuals and groups of all sizes, as well as the ability to influence all levels of management.
Preferred: Pragmatic/Product Marketing Certification, AIPMM Product Manager Certification.
