The Marketing Analyst is responsible for analyzing campaign effectiveness, creating lists for marketing campaigns, creating monthly reports, and performing deep dive analysis on the targeted audience.
A typical week might include the following...
Generates and maintains lists for marketing initiatives. Uses knowledge of member base and results of previous campaigns to determine correct list criteria.
Creates, analyzes and reports on marketing campaign by applying quantitative and qualitative techniques to interpret data. Efficiently communicates key insights and findings, as well as provides leadership with recommendations for optimization.
Translates complex and detailed data from multiple sources into clear, concise insight and reports for use in larger business plans. Creates and maintains monthly reports and/or dashboards, reporting organizational results and marketing results in easy to consume formats.
Performs deep dive analysis of Desert Schools’ membership base to find and provide actionable insights that help shape marketing and business strategy.
Updates the Marketing Customer Information File (MCIF) database and ensures data accuracy.

This role might be for you if you have...
High School Diploma or GED.
1 years of hands-on experience in the field or related area.
Experience using Google systems such as Analytics, AdWords, and Tag Manager (Google Certified preferred).
Experience using MCIF solutions (Touché Analyzer Preferred).
Experience using Email Marketing Systems (Eloqua Preferred) and Content Management Systems (Sitcore Preferred).
Working knowledge of design software and Microsoft Office Suite including Access; Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint. Advanced hands-on proficiency with Excel.
Robust analytical, negotiation, and research skills along with experience working with data in a highly analytic environment.
Ability to effectively analyze data and understand/communicate key insights. Advanced problem solving ability, communication, and presentation skills.
Bonus points if you have...
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
Experience using Google Analytics or other Web Analytics Tools.
Experience using MCIF solutions (Touché Analyzer Preferred) or other relational databases.
Experience analyzing data and/or creating reports.
