Who you are…

The Manager, Marketing Projects manages and supports business and marketing initiatives through various channels for our high-profile marketing programs and drive to established KPIs. This will require critical collaboration with functional marketing experts in advertising, web, email, social media, events, direct mail, and PR, as well as collaboration with internal communication experts. The Manager, Marketing Projects will lead all marketing projects, campaigns, and programs as well as managing the Marketing Project Management team. A successful Manager, Marketing Projects will have the ability to manage input from multiple work streams and stakeholders while driving campaigns and programs with the client experience in mind. This role will work directly with Marketing leaders to determine scope, capacity, and timeline from brainstorming to implementation to reporting. The incumbent must be detail oriented and an expert communicator responsible for updating internal and external clients on project development and status. Previous experience with Workfront is required.

A typical week might include the following...

Lead and manage the marketing project management team. Monitor the performance of marketing project management team members. Coach, mentor, and document employee performance feedback.

Manage, track, and adjust all large marketing projects and high profile internal events from implementation to reporting. Project management duties include but are not limited to managing time lines, deliverables, analysis, development, implementation, and delivery.

Collaborate and communicate with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders to determine appropriate marketing solutions, manage expectations, make recommendations, build rapport, obtain feedback, resolve problems, and communicate project status updates to clients and marketing team.

Implement process improvements including Workfront improvements, reporting, and utilization.

Perform other job related duties as assigned.

This role might be for you if you have...

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; or the equivalent experience.

5 years of Marketing Project Management experience.

Knowledge and experience with Workfront required.

Strong skills in organization, attention to detail, communications, critical thinking, interpersonal relationship management and business acumen.

Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications. Working knowledge of business intelligence, reporting or dashboard applications.

Effective management skills including analysis, time management and problem solving.

Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Direct experience managing large business initiatives/ projects with significant business impacts within a large organization.

Must be able to work with no supervision. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.

Able to inspire and jump in and do it yourself. Not afraid to get your hands dirty. Values teamwork and can initiate tasks alone while also handling spontaneous tasks. Ability to produce quality work with tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse and cross-functional group of employees, managers, clients, visitors and vendors. Ability to develop and maintain key business relationships.

Confident decision-maker on items within the parameters, budgets, and guidelines set forth.

Ability to assess the needs or stakeholders and produce focused reports and visuals that foster insights into effectiveness of campaigns.

Bonus points if you have...

3 years of Financial Institution project management experience.

3 years of Supervisor/Leadership experience.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
