Who You Are:

The Loan Servicing Assistant acts as primary point of contact to ensure loan quality. This role is responsible for the effective servicing of loans to ensure customers/members are effectively serviced, their inquiries responded to and operational situations resolved promptly and efficiently.

A typical day might include the following:

Processing various system maintenance requests, such as posting of payments/payoff, advances, NSF, ACH set-up, subordinations, loan modifications, promotional skip payments, verification of loans, and loan payment adjustments.

Researching loan histories, hazard and flood insurance tracking, paid out processing to include releasing liens for real estate/non-real estate loans.

Interacting with members, dealerships, credit union staff, and 3rd party vendors through various channels of communication regarding existing loans in the Keystone platform for accuracy and consistency and assure all information is current and up to date.

Following up with members as necessary while meeting a 24 hour turnaround service response time.

Providing back up support on ancillary loan products which includes filing credit life and disability insurance payments claims and collateral protection insurance (CPI) refund claims.

Balancing of financial transactions at end of business day.

Performs other job related duties as assigned

This role might be for you if:

1 year general consumer and/or real estate Lending knowledge

1 year prior experience servicing Consumer Loan products.

Knowledge of lending products that includes purchases and refinances of many different types of collateral as well as unsecured products.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong customer service experience, excellent organizational skills, listening skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
