The Lead Web Applications Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining web-based systems. You're a fixer and an innovator with the ability to handle complicated software issues, research technical problems and suggest improvements for applications.

A typical day might include the following...

Lead and complete the development, testing, and implementation of web based applications and integrations across multiple products and business units; meeting agreed upon architecture and design utilizing standard guidelines, templates, and procedures.

Collaborate on the design and architecture of projects to identify the best solution to meet project requirements, reporting on the status of projects.

Troubleshoot, research, and resolve complex web application and technical issues, and suggest improvements for web application standards. Learn and integrate new technologies and support the implementation of new standards/process changes.

Review resumes, participate in interviews, assist in the development of training plans, and onboard new team members. Roll out new/changes in standards, and facilitate cross team collaboration, utilizing relationships with other leads.

Follow SDLC processes and participate in Agile/SCRUM meetings, tasking/sizing work, offering alternative solutions to meet requirements and escalating issues throughout the sprint.

Collaborate with team to breakdown stories to ensure they are sprint sized deliverables ensuring stories are completed as agreed upon during sprint planning sessions.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


This role might be right for you if you have...

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education and experience.

4-7 years Experience in web programming, specifically planning and delivering software platforms.

Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, AJAX, XSLT and SQL.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical lead role, responsible for coaching and mentoring a team.

Experiencing working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment and with related software.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, SOLID principles and their use in client-side web applications, interfaces and databases.

Strong understanding of SOA design, service development and reuse (.NET Core, WCF, ASMX, etc..).

Strong understanding of test driven development, unit test and integration test development.


Bonus points if you have...

Experience working in the Credit Union or Financial industry

Experience with PCI, SSAE18 or ITIL

Microsoft Certifications

PCI or ITIL Certifications
