This strategic position will play a critical Network Operational role in transformation across all aspects of Credit Union Network Management.
As the Director of Network Operations you will plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT Network Infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly the enterprise network infrastructure, firewalls, LAN/WAN, wireless, carrier communications, and telecommunications systems. The Director, Network Operations will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Ensures that project/department milestones and goals are met, while adhering to approved budgets.
What you'll do here:
Lead and supervise the Network Team ensuring that appropriate skilled resources are in place to meet service level requirements. Manage staff performance, including one on ones and individual development plans. Oversee ongoing process, policy and Network Operations development, improvement in service availability/reliability, reduction in mean-time-to-repair, and effective coordination of network change activities.
Ensure that systems, processes, and methodologies are maintained. Ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery. Balance long-term needs with tactical implementations that improve our Network's enterprise posture. Develop Lifecycle roadmaps for Network hardware and software assets.
Responsible for day to day system administration, including management of internal and external network, VPN, telephony, and firewalls. Develops and implements performance improvement plans and assures the resolution of issues. Provides stakeholders operations analyses.
Manage the implementation of published standards for all network related activities, including processes, procedures, and documentation. Manage problem resolution completion with carriers and restoration of service.
Ensure compliance with all cybersecurity configurations, policies and procedures for equipment, and staff. Defines and ensures regular distribution of standard performance reports.
Budget, plan, implement, and manage all ongoing life cycle management upgrades, including hardware replacement, decommission, and consolidation.

What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
10 years of experience in Network Infrastructure Leadership
Experience managing and supporting an Enterprise Network Infrastructure components, Cisco, Palo Alto next generation firewalls
Experience supporting regulatory audits, including PCI, SOX, SSAW, NCUA, FDIC
Supporting datacenters in multi-tenant environment
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience supporting key Network Infrastructure components, including networking, carriers, and telephony technologies
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Deep knowledge supporting Network Infrastructure related operations management (NOC)
The following certifications are preferred: Palo Alto Ace, Cisco VoIP, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, Telephony, SIP and unified communication, CISSP, PMP
