Job Description

The Assistant Service Manager position is responsible for training, coaching, and motivating tellers to provide outstanding service to members while maintaining prescribed operational standards and controls. They manage the Teller function to ensure prompt and efficient transaction processing and support the branch sales initiatives through the generation of quality referrals. Desert Financial prides itself on providing stellar service and innovative products to its customers, and taking an active role in community outreach and education efforts in the valley and beyond.

 

What you’ll do here:

Support the direction, management and development of Tellers through effective training and coaching methods.

Support sales initiatives through referral efforts and collaborating with the sales team to execute business plans.

Provide solutions to member problems, complaints and handle escalated issues.

Apply approved processes to ensure branch security is in alignment with credit union policies and in compliance with State and Federal regulations.

Perform other job related duties as assigned.

 

What you’ll need:

1 years of experience leading sales teams within the financial services industry or other types of retail businesses.

Basic understanding of how the financial markets impact the financial services industry.

It is a requirement of this position that individuals be registered though the National Mortgage Lending System and Registry (NMLS).
