Account Solutions Representative I
Account Solutions Rep I is responsible for collecting on delinquent loans and negative shares to bring accounts to a positive/current status. The Account Solutions Rep I will council members regarding their accounts by negotiating solutions that benefit the member and the credit union.
What you will do here:
Collections – Handle inbound and outbound collection calls on negative shares, auto, unsecured, and charged off loans to provide member assistance as appropriate based on the status of the member’s account(s). Negotiate payments while evaluating the members’ financial situation to provide solutions based on individual needs.
Confirm all member information is accurate and complete. Assure that the Credit Union complies with all regulatory requirements.
Identify the root cause of the financial hardship in order to identify and offer appropriate workout solutions. This may include, but is not limited to recommending repayment plans and hardship programs (i.e. re-age, loan extensions and Loss Mitigation options). Through member engagement, identify any issue that may have caused late payment and collaborate with other department and/or branch personnel to resolve the issue(s).
Collaborate, communicate and respond to internal stakeholders, external clients/vendors and members to ensure an exceptional member experience.
Provide guidance and coaching to members regarding the importance of maintaining account(s) in good standing thereby reducing risk and fostering potential membership growth.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Required: H.S. Diploma
Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
Experience: 1 Years collection, call center and account servicing experience
Previous credit union experience.
